We all have lists of “Things I Must Do In My Lifetime”. We can’t help you summit Mount Everest, sail the Caribbean, drive a Ferrari, write a song, or learn Portuguese, but we can help you check off a balloon flight. For 35 years we have been in the business of helping people safely cross that one off their list.

Ballooning is not only our profession but also our passion. World Balloon’s pilots and ground crews are the friendliest and most experienced in New Mexico. From the minute we arrive at your hotel to the time we say goodbye after the flight, we'll give you the experience of a lifetime.

Since balloons are at the mercy of the wind, we will choose a launch site that will give you the most diverse and scenic flight in the Rio Grande Valley. Our pilots, using the winds at different elevations, will skillfully steer the balloon along the valley for approximately 1 hour. The length of the flight will depend on available landing sites and weather conditions. The altitude will vary between inches above the tree tops to a thousand plus feet above ground. Once we have safely returned to earth we will pack the balloon away, and depart to a park for a celebration. All of our flights are celebrated with a traditional champagne toast, along with a light breakfast. Soft drinks, water, and juice are also available for passengers who prefer non-alcoholic beverages. Each passenger will receive a First Flight Certificate and commemorative pin.
